When Barbara Leavitt, friend, and founder of “Help Me Grow” Utah, asked me to be the
“Parent Champion”, I didn’t know quite what to say.
“What is that?” was the first question I asked, and then a follow up, “Why me?” Who would ever claim to be a “Parent Champion”? Every day as a parent is hard, and I fail constantly.
Over the past several months, I have thought about what it means for me to have that title within the “Help me Grow” National organization. Eventually, I was asked to be interviewed for their website and newsletter they send out. They published the interview yesterday, and I thought I would share it with all of my friends and family that have asked me countless times to explain what “Help Me Grow” actually IS.
Hopefully,THIS will do the trick!
My interview is on the left side of the web page.
Also, if you live in Utah, HEREis the link to local resources through Help Me Grow!
If you are looking for a system like this in YOUR state, you may already have it. Fifteen states already do! If you don’t, get in touch with me and I get you in contact with someone who can explain more.
ALOHA!
I am leaving on a jet plane in a few quick hours.
