I am procrastinating…

It is true.

I have something that is very hard to do and every time I give it brain power, I feel drained.  So to make myself feel better I wanted to post a few pictures I took this morning for my friend/housekeeper 2 days a week Maria.  If you want to know why and how she came about you can read HERE.

She was in my kitchen cleaning with me a few days ago and I asked her what she was doing for her birthday.  She said she planned on taking pictures of her kids, so I offered to take some of her with her kids and well…she was quite excited.  She is an amazing mother and one of the hardest working women I know.  {I clean and chase after the kids 7 days a week and the 2 days she helps out are priceless}  She is so kind and sweet and supports her family and children so well.  I admire her and I love her.

It’s taken me 6 years to even be able to say I have a “housekeeper” I actually just call her my good friend because I am embarrassed.  I guess that’s what happens when you have a building maintenance hubby that had a clean freak mom, and a distracted sporadic wife with kids running everywhere.

My house isn’t perfect, even with her help.

It’s hard sometimes to realize that Handsome and Bug love her possibly as much as they love me, but it’s OK.  I would if I were them too!  She plays with them and has been there right from the start for Bug and Handsome.

She has beautiful children, as you will soon see!

And…no kidding it was 14 degrees outside when we took these pics and that was before we entered the ice castle formations!

The boys were trying hard to look tough…{but it wasn’t working}  We were outside for probably 30 minutes total, so I feel happy with the shots we did get!  I wanted them to be able to just play in the snow together but our hands were numb in T minus 3 minutes.

When I told bug this morning that we were going to take pictures, I asked her to get dressed.  She came back all ready and had Handsome dressed also….get a load of THIS:
