Today is an amazing day….because of an amazing man.

I am off to play with my family in SLC today, but didn’t want to pass up the chance to pay tribute to one of my heros.

I will let his words speak for him, because nobody 

can do it better!

Almost always, the creative dedicated minority has made the world better. 

A genuine leader is not a searcher for consensus but a molder of consensus.

A man can’t ride your back unless it’s bent. 

An individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow confines of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity. 

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.

Every man must decide whether he will walk in the light of creative altruism or in the darkness of destructive selfishness. 

Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase. 

He who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it. He who accepts evil without protesting against it is really cooperating with it.

I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.
